You can go anywhere on an adventure bike. On a conventional touring bike you're limited to pavement and the occasional stretch of gravel road. Modern adventure bikes are some of the most capable bikes ever made. Once Honda steps into the ring you know the fight is real. The Africa Twin is the real deal that's intended to set the bar as high as possible for other adventure manufacturers. Expect to see a lot more big adventure bikes as well as a many more, smaller, street legal enduro bikes like the CRF250L, DRZ400, KLX250s, WR250R, KTM EXC line, Etc...
